PRESENTATION: Achieving Joint Situational Awareness through Logging

The logging of actions, decisions and incidents, whether during an event or running a campus 24/7, requires a major update in today’s threat rich environment. Ian Kerr, founder of Raven Controls will outline key learnings and new possibilities in this area, explaining how all stakeholders can be more closely informed and communicate better during the delivery of an event.

Through the use of technology such as Raven Controls, we can revolutionise the way in which we log and importantly share information.

The session will include insights and examples from events such as the European Championships 2018 and also discuss its integration with the SEC – one of the leading entertainment and conference venues in the world, in how systems like Raven can enhance:

– Joint situational awareness
– Logging – to who, why and how
– Notification and escalation
– Policy decisions and critical decision making
– Interoperability
– Informed decision-making and efficiencies in response

The session will be interactive and welcomes all, however anyone who still uses word, excel or paper to log within their venues or events should make this a priority to see what is possible.
