Lee Davidson has been a Safety & Security Manager at FIFA since January 2017, leading the safety and security planning and delivery for a number of FIFA tournaments, including most recently the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 TM.
Prior to joining FIFA Lee worked in sports ground safety and security in both operational stadium management and strategic policy roles: at Lord’s Cricket Ground, and as Head of Football at the UK Home Office. A qualified stadium safety and security manager and licensed security officer, she has experience of managing high profile international and domestic sports events, and international government and policing co-operation. Outside of football and cricket Lee worked in a range of event roles at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the NATO Summit 2014, and the Rugby World Cup 2015. Her previous experience includes policy management in policing, public order, anti-social behaviour, and acquisitive crime.
